DESCRIPTION:In China there is a proverb\, “If you are planning for a year\, sow rice; if you are planning for a decade\, plant trees; if you are planning for a lifetime\, educate people.” \nNelson Mandela of South Africa said\, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” \nMigros Academy is our effort to empower refugee students in their education through tutoring.    It is a 1-hour commitment every Tuesday @ our ministry center.     New volunteers are welcome to come shadow to determine if they want to help.    We have more students than tutors and wish to increase engagement and involvement and need more tutors. \nPlease email us at info@migrosaid.org to get more info or with any questions.
