We have been able to help bring food aid and assistance to 80+ refugee families known as the Banyamulenge in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
The assistance was offered in the Minembwe village located in the South Kivu Province- working through local churches in the region!
Items that were given to families include supplies for food cooking supplies.
The Banyamulenge have been victims of genocide for years and many have been resettled to America through Refugee Resettlement in the last twenty years by the US government.
Our partnership is with Hope of Life Mission Church, which is made up of refugees from this region and worships weekly in Indianapolis. Migros Aid was involved in the start of this Christian community.
