Experiences outside of a child’s regular life routine are crucial for their ongoing development, especially during the summer. They foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth, and enhance critical thinking and tolerance.
Most of the students we serve do not have the opportunity to visit many of the places around the city due to several factors.
This summer, our team took over 26 day trips to numerous places around the city with over 200+ in attendance.
These experiences included Eagle Creek Park, $1 kids’ movies, downtown, the Children’s Museum, and the Indianapolis Zoo.
Thank you to those who helped make this possible over the summer through your donations!
