Because of your generosity over Giving Tuesday, we have been able to assist 12 families with rent in December! Thank you to those who donated and allowed us to exceed our goal of helping 10 families. Thank you!
There is an African proverb that says, “It is the heart that does the giving; the fingers only let go.” It has been beautiful seeing so many fingers letting go in 2023 by giving attention, resources, conversations, and time to serve our refugee friends in the city. Generosity begins in the interior of our souls and then flows outward.
Please take a look at our 2023 Year-End Campaign as the year soon comes to an end. We have done this year-end campaign for the last several years.
This year, our theme is FUTURE LEADERS. Please follow us on our social media pages to read stories of future leaders.
Our goal for the year-end campaign is $60,000 for our general fund and operations.
With all of you helping out, we can reach this goal to end the year well and move into 2024 in a strong financial position.

Eugene Petersen’s paraphrase of Jesus is beautiful, ‘“Don’t pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults—unless, of course, you want the same treatment. Don’t condemn those who are down; that hardness can boomerang. Be easy on people; you’ll find life a lot easier. Give away your life; you’ll find life given back, but not merely given back—given back with bonus and blessing. Giving, not getting, is the way. Generosity begets generosity.” (Luke 6:37-38)
Thank you for your Generosity!
