It was Benjamin Franklin who wrote, “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.”
This is a great truth to remember when helping anyone, especially those within the immigrant and refugee community. The community garden is providing a great way to do just that and provide a way for mentorship and teaching.
