We are very encouraged and grateful to the Episcopal Diocese of Indianapolis and their support to use part of the facility on the west side of Indianapolis, formerly known as St. John’s Episcopal Church.
The building is also home to the ‘Storehouse food pantry’ that serves people in need two days per month. We hope to strengthen and grow the partnership with the food pantry.
The zip code of 46224 in Indianapolis is home to over 40,000 people and over 20,000 were born outside America.
We are using this space for our weekly English Club event and hope to grow our programs and impact in the area. We also have use of a small office for administrative purposes. This spring we will be launching the “Migros community garden”. We hope to be able to grow our impact into the immigrant and refugee community.
