We sponsored a conference in March 2023 and refugee church groups came from Grand Rapids, MI; Dayton, OH; Lousville, KY to join other refugees in Indianapolis. They were all from different regions in Africa. The all day conference included teaching sessions, small group discussions, and lunch together. The name of the conference was called “Christian Youth Fellowship”.
In our continued desire to empower and assist refugees, the role of spiritual growth is foundational. The conference was organized and led by Patrick Kagabo, along with other young African leaders. Patrick is originally from Congo and fled to Nairobi, Kenya, where he lived as a refugee for over thirteen years.
We hope to sponsor and facilitate more spiritual retreats and conferences in the future.
